Account and Data Deletion

At Clapyy, we respect your right to control your personal information. In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety Policy, we provide multiple ways to delete your account and associated data.

1. Request Deletion in the App

The fastest and most secure way to delete your data is through the Clapyy mobile application:

  1. Log in to your Clapyy account.
  2. Navigate to your Profile tab (bottom right).
  3. Open Settings (gear icon).
  4. Select Account Management or Safety & Privacy.
  5. Tap on Delete Account.
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm deletion.

Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated immediately, and all associated data will be queued for permanent deletion.

2. Request Deletion via Website/Email

If you no longer have the App installed or cannot access your account, you can submit a deletion request via our support team:

  • Send an email to: support@zeemato.com
  • Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Unique Username]
  • In the body of the email, please include your registered email address or the phone number associated with the account.
  • For security reasons, we may require you to verify your identity before processing the request.
  • Requests are typically processed within 48 to 72 hours.

3. Data Impact of Deletion

When you delete your account, the following information is permanently removed from our active production systems:

  • Your profile (name, username, bio, gender, DOB).
  • All photographs uploaded to your profile.
  • Your record of direct messages and conversation history.
  • Your match history and preferences.

Note: Transactional data related to account verification or security may be retained for limited period as required by law or for safety compliance.

4. Data Retention Policy

While we aim to delete data as quickly as possible, some remnants may persist in our encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being fully overwritten. This is a standard technical process and the data remains inaccessible during this time.
