Community Guidelines

Who can use Clappy

• You must meet the minimum age shown in our app listing and in your jurisdiction (typically 18+).
• You must represent yourself honestly. Fake profiles, impersonation, and deceptive identity use are prohibited.

Treat everyone with respect

• No harassment, hate speech, threats, blackmail, or intimidation.
• No unwanted sexual comments, vulgarity directed at individuals, or pressure for explicit content.
• Respect boundaries: if someone is not interested, stop messaging.

No harmful, illegal, or exploitative behaviour

• Do not solicit, distribute, request, or share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexual content involving minors. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy and may report violations to authorities.
• No violence, graphic harm, trafficking, scams, phishing, malware, spam, promotion of illegal substances, or other illegal activity.
• Do not use Clappy for commercial solicitation of sex or escorting services unless explicitly permitted by law where you operate and by our Terms.

Safety on calls & in chat

• Never send money or share banking details with people you’ve just met. Report suspicious financial requests.
• Do not pressure others to leave the platform for “private” chats on day one.
• Meet in real life only when you feel comfortable; meet in public places first when possible.

Content standards

• Profile photos and media must follow our policies on nudity, violence, minors, harassment, and copyright.
• Do not screenshot, record, repost private chats or intimate media without clear consent.

Reporting & enforcement

Use Report in the app when something feels wrong—our safety team reviews reports. Abuse of reporting tools is also a violation.

We may suspend or ban accounts without prior notice where required for safety or legal compliance.
